Brittany France: North CoastThe North Coast - concentrated around the départements of Îlle-et-Vilaine and Côtes d'Armor - is where you'll find the popular tourist spots, such as Dinard, St-Malo and Cancale, the oyster capital of France.
The Emerald and Pink Granite coasts (Côte d'Émeraude/ Côte de Granit Rose) are well known for golden sand beaches and acqua water. There are some great scenic walks, called "Les Senteurs des Douaniers" - these used to be customs agents lookouts.
Plougrescant is a maze of little coves and you'll see a tiny little cottage wedged between two rocks.
Cap Fréhel is a great spot for a walk or a picnic, and has some lovely beaches.
If you venture inland you'll find the beautiful medieval town of Dinan, one of our favourites.
Please see our Map of Brittany Page to find out the location of these destinations.
